This is a supplemental download for my released of MADOX-01: https://nyaa.si/view/1733257 On AnimEigo's "Unobtainium Edition" Blu-Ray, they've included two versions of the OVA: a director's approved "restored" version and an "original" version. It seems that the changes made to the restored version are very minor and seem to consist of a different color grading, slightly more DNR (though grain is still visible), and minor edits made to fix apparent animation mistakes. In other words, it they've gotten the director to oversee some digital restoration work, which is typical for many Blu-ray releases, but because they're AnimEigo and this was a disc that was funded by Kickstarter, they've of course made a premium edition which included both versions, regardless of however minor the differences may be. The best comparison I could find comes from the opening shot (ignore the neon lighting effects, they were taken on different frames.) Unrestored:  Restored:  As you can see, the color grading is slightly different, the grain is slightly different, and the unrestored version is ever so slightly less cropped, showing the edge of the film frame at the bottom. These are such nitpicks that I can't believe the vast majority of people would even notice, and I figured that the restored version is objectively better enough that I've made that the default version in my other upload. But I am also uploading the unrestored version here in case anybody wants it, probably to do a full comparison more than anything else. Both the original Japanese and English dub are included, along with AnimEigo's plethora of subtitle options. **EDIT**: Annoyingly enough, it seems that the commentaries are encoded with the unrestored version on the disc, and as such they are only here and not with my regular upload. I could've remuxed them together but I forgot to. What this means is that you will have to download this extra bit if you want the commentaries. Oops.
