This comes from a reel of a 35mm print sent to us by @Space_Merle on Twitter, which we scanned at 4K resolution. It was very clean and the colors were pristine, so there was no need to do any restoration or color correction beyond a very basic calibration. Unfortunately, we could only scan the first part of the movie, since the other remaining reels were missing. They were thrown away along with dozens of other films when Allied Vaughn's Dallas office closed around 2008 or 2009, so this reel here was salvaged from that liquidation, but sadly the others were not able to be saved. We were also able to save and transfer this reel's M&E (Music & Effects) track from a 16mm magnetic sound film that we coordinated with @MrShinmaru on Twitter. We have not only included The M&E track (and a music-only track) as an audio option, but thanks to having access to those materials, we were able to create a custom stereo mix for the reel's runtime, courtesy of @nappasan. It is the default audio track on our upload. He also supplied Latin American Spanish audio. Seed of Might (SoM) was kind enough to lend us their subtitles and audio sources to sync to our film scan for this release. There have been adjustments made to the subtitle styling and a few alterations, including one mistranslated line fixed. All English dub audio was also graciously supplied and synced by members of the group. Those who directly contributed to this release are credited by name below. This upload includes the 4K film scan along with the following audio and subtitle options: - Japanese Custom Stereo Mix (See above for details) - Japanese Blu-ray Audio - Japanese Optical Audio (straight from the film print) - All versions of the FUNimation English dub, including both original 5.1 and 2.0 mixes and the remastered 5.1 mix featuring their replacement score. Their 5.1 mix with the Japanese soundtrack is also included - AB Groupe's "Big Green" dub - Speedy's Malaysian-English dub - Latin American Spanish dub - Music & Effects track sourced from a 16mm magnetic sound film (see above for details) - Music only isolated track, from the same mag source. - Full English subtitles, both styled and basic Film Reel Acquisition: @Space_Merle Music & Effects Mag Acquisition: @MrShinmaru Subtitle Syncing: iKaos & SoM Subtitle Editing: nemu Audio Syncing: ZeroCool, Krycek702, CrashOveride, Nappasan, nemu, iKaos & SoM Scanning & Encoding: Kineko Video Enjoy!
