##### **This new release is the definitive way to watch *Dragon Ball Z* with the Galician dub, which is now 33 years old.**
### **Audio Sources**
- **TV Broadcast** (Episodes 1-40) - This audio was obtained from a 2016 [DTTV](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_terrestrial_television) broadcast on [TVG](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Televisi%C3%B3n_de_Galicia) using a [cable box](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set-top_box). It is higher quality than the Selecta Visión Blu-ray release, which re-used DVD audio.
- **Betacam** (Episodes 41-291) - Unfiltered and uncompressed Betacam master audio from the Selecta Visión Blu-ray release, transferred losslessly as DTS-HD MA.
###### ✪ *Note: Episodes 31 & 50 is DVD audio because TVG digitized these episodes incorrectly. Episode 49 had better audio on the TV broadcast than the Blu-ray or DVD.*
### **Audio Treatment**
- **Syncing:** The Galician audio was synced to the Japanese Dragon Box, while also carefully referencing the original dub's footage for syncing dialogue to keep the intended lip-sync faithful.
- **Patching:** Episodes 105-291 are presented without censorship. Censored scenes, episode titles, and eye-catches have been added. Most censored scenes were edited using parts of the Galician Kai dub.
- **EQ:** Equalization was done on a per-episode basis, and background noise was added where needed for seamless blending.
- **Insert Songs**: Missing insert songs have been re-added and balanced. Alternate versions without insert songs are also included for preservation purposes.
- **Title Cards & NEPs**: Episodes 186-203 now include original title cards. Episodes 1-104 have instrumental title cards and NEPs; episodes 105+ include dubbed title cards and NEPs.
- **Mixing Errors**: Some inherent mixing errors have been corrected.
- **Audio Versions**: Two versions are available: 25 FPS and 23.976 FPS.

Wow, pretty sweet for the Galician fans.
And now, the Castillan fans have a definitive Dragon Ball Z dub thanks to Dragon Ball Kai. It's impressively accurate and even better with the Yamamoto score (available at 80stvseries forum). I gotta download an episode to watch it.
