This is a scan of a booklet for the Otaku: Persona = Space= City event from 2004. As the event was hosted in Italy, the booklet contains both Italian and English translations, even for the artwork. Alongside the booklet, was a figurine which the box displays. The figurine was created by Yuki Oshima, who also worked on Dearest My Brother https://myanimelist.net/manga/28581/Watashi_no_Oniichan. I have included both a CBZ and PDF version in the folder. Translation from Wikipedia: Otaku: Personality = Space = City (Otaku: Jinkaku = Kuukan = Toshi) was the Japan Pavilion's exhibit at the 9th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice Biennale, held in Venice, Italy from September 12 to November 7, 2004. It was organized by architecture scholar Morikawa Kaichiro, who was appointed Japan Pavilion Commissioner (organizer) and author of "The Birth of a City of Interest: Akihabara, the City of Moeru" (2001). It symbolized the rise of Japanese subculture by bringing otaku culture, which had previously been treated as a secondary topic, to the forefront. Participating artists included Kenzo Tange and Yuki Oshima. It introduced Japanese subculture to visitors who had previously had little opportunity to experience it. A homecoming exhibition of the Japan Pavilion at the International Architecture Exhibition, Venice Biennale, was held at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum from February 22 to March 13, 2005. https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%81%8A%E3%81%9F%E3%81%8F%EF%BC%9A%E4%BA%BA%E6%A0%BC%EF%BC%9D%E7%A9%BA%E9%96%93%EF%BC%9D%E9%83%BD%E5%B8%82 Other links regarding the event: https://venezia-biennale-japan.jpf.go.jp/e/architecture/2004 https://aaa.org.hk/en/collections/search/library/otaku-persona-space-city-padiglione-giappone
