A very kind person has sent me recordings from the original 1982 airing of the show, so every episode will now include the audio from the original broadcast as a secondary track (The audio track present in the DVDs is a re-recording with a mostly different cast). I will also be including the documentaries that were cut from the DVD version of the show in a separate 'Extras' folder, as well as an alternate edit of the very first scene from episode 1 that was shortened for the DVD release. Unfortunately, a couple of these recordings are incomplete, so most of the documentary for episode 6 is missing (I've included what little there was in the recording). The first 6 minutes of episode 18 are also missing, so for the beginning of that episode the broadcast audio track will be the same as the DVD track. Since I now have access to the broadcast version of the show, I was able to confirm that certain shots in the earlier episodes that had strange colors to them did not originally look that way when the show originally aired, so I've gone back and color corrected these shots, sometimes using the Portuguese DVDs as a source depending on which one gave better results. There's lots of dot crawl, rainbow artifacts, and for some reason colors and bright details bleed towards the right side of the image. I tried to deal with all these artifacts as best as I could. For episodes 04 to 15 they've used a very strong sharpening filter on the video, so I had to deal with all the haloing in those episodes also. Episodes 16 and onward have way less video problems thankfully. > Whoever mastered the DVDs also seems to have used some early-2000's temporal denoising, so there's a lot of ghosting in dark areas and in quick motion, it gets specially bad in scenes where they do a "screen shake" effect, there's unfortunately not much I can do to fix this ghosting.
